Home > Sewing Machine Project

In October 2019, funds were donated to launch the Helping Hands Sewing Center so the ministry could begin training 6 women at each of the two locations.  The women are being trained by a skilled tailor. The purpose of this project is to enable the ladies to have their own small business to help support their families. One lady shared that she had been praying for 20 years that God would make it possible for her to do this, and she was so happy that now she would have the opportunity. The cost for each lady to begin training is $50 USD. This buys their materials and sewing supplies for the 6-month training. Upon completing their training successfully, they will each receive their own new sewing machine and some funds to buy some materials to start their business. Each sewing machine costs $100 USD.
